Junior Individual lessons
My junior lessons are fun and informative. I have a great deal of experience in coaching juniors from beginners to elite level and taking some juniors from their first golf experience to winning competitions at our club and around the county. Some of my players have competed at junior European finals and UK national finals. All individual lessons receive a before and after video with voiceover following the lesson.

Junior Group Lessons
My group lessons take place every Sunday with 2 classes. The first class is 10-11.15 and is for juniors new to golf and with little experience from ages 4-12. The second class is from 11.15-12.30 and is for juniors who are more experienced and from the ages of 9-16. I want every child to say they had fun in the lessons as that is what will make them want to come back, within each class we work on games based activities that are fun and also help the junior to develop their golf skills. We also work on their fundamental movement skills such as throwing, jumping and coordination movements to improve them as athletes.

“I feel really excited before a lesson and I love that there is always something new and always some kind of nice surprises during a lesson. I love doing the putting game at the end”. Filipp, aged 8.

“Ian is a great coach. Group lessons are engaging using a mixture of exercises to practice technique and learn new skills. We have also had some individual lessons and always receive tailored, helpful and practical advice – Ian follows up the lesson with an e-mail containing a video re-cap of the main lesson focus (which is great for consolidating learning and to refer back to)” Clare Knights
